BITSTREAM S.A. has been manufacturing, among other things, Ethernet switches (Hyperion) and time servers (Quazar) for industry for 18 years. We export mainly to Finland, Australia and South American countries. We develop devices from start to finish, from the design of electronics (hardware/software) and mechanics, through assembly on the production line and testing. 

Independent Technologist in electronics manufacturing

The main purpose of the position is the technical supervision of the company and the technological support of the production processes of industrial, power and communication network monitoring devices.

Responsibilities

● Design, implementation and testing of new technological solutions,
● Supervision of operational production processes,
● Optimisation of production processes (SMD and THT soldering, assembly, commissioning, testing),
● Prototype assembly of devices,
● Supervision of the status of technological documentation,
● Information exchange between the Production Department and the Development Department: reporting production problems to R&D, supervising existing reports, participating in their resolution,
● Creation of assembly instructions.

Requirements

● Knowledge of the SMD assembly process,
● Practical knowledge of CAD,
● Ability to maintain technical documentation,
● Practical knowledge of technological issues and processes,
● Work experience related to production technology is welcome,
● Ability to work in a team,
● Technical skills,
● Conscientiousness / accuracy,
● Systematic,
● Knowledge of English to be able to read and write technical documentation freely.
